Jacksonville, FL → England

Two players.
One dream.
The next chapter is England.

Kruz and Pierce Jackson have spent years chasing the game they love. Now, new opportunities are taking their soccer journeys across the Atlantic — and their community can be part of what comes next.

Our Story

The next chapter takes them to England.

For Kruz and Pierce Jackson, soccer has never been just an activity. It has shaped their schedules, their friendships, their travels, and much of their lives as a family.

Different ages. Different paths. The same love for the game.

Now, both have opportunities that could take their development to another level — including experiences in England that put them in environments where football is part of the culture and the competition demands more.

Jacksons Chasing Goals was created to share their journey and give the people who have encouraged them along the way an opportunity to be part of what comes next.

Kruz Jackson

Driven by the Game.

For Kruz, a 16-year-old 11th grader, soccer has never been something he simply does. After 11 years in the game, it has become a defining part of who he is.

A fullback who can also play on the wing or as a CDM, Kruz brings speed, agility, passion and an intensely competitive mentality to the field. He genuinely looks forward to the work—the practices, training sessions and opportunities to keep improving just as much as the matches themselves.

His development has been shaped by Jacksonville FC, DSPFC, Jacksonville Armada FC and Brooke House FC (USL), and above all by Iconz Elite, where high-level training, coaching, competitive tournament play and international opportunities have pushed his game forward.

Kruz has competed at high-level youth events including SuperCupNI, Super Cup, Gothia Cup, National Cup Finals, MLS Fest and SuperCopa+.

Representing Iconz Elite at SuperCupNI in Northern Ireland, Kruz earned Man of the Match against County Londonderry—a standout moment in his international experience. He has also earned Season MVP honors with Jacksonville FC.

This November, Kruz has the opportunity to return to England for the Brooke House International Showcase, an opportunity available to certain Brooke House Academy players.

Kruz will train within the Brooke House environment in sessions involving experienced coaches including Chris Birchall, Warren Joyce, Micky Adams and Academy Manager Ashley Foyle, before competitive showcase matches in front of scouts and recruiters.

It is another chance to step outside his comfort zone, experience English football standards and see how his game measures up in a demanding international environment.

The Dream

From Jacksonville to Dortmund — and maybe one day, Team USA.

Ask Kruz where he would ultimately like soccer to take him and his answer is ambitious: Borussia Dortmund.

Kruz and Pierce are half German, and their Oma grew up in Soest, roughly 45 kilometers from Dortmund. That family connection makes the dream particularly meaningful.

He also dreams of representing the United States Men’s National Team and wearing the USA crest at the Olympic Games. And if he gets to write the ending, he would like to finish his professional career back in Florida with Orlando City—a club that already has a special place in his family. His aunt and uncle are avid Orlando City season-ticket holders who live within walking distance of the stadium, and Kruz loves going to matches with them whenever he is in Orlando.

It is a very big dream. For Kruz, that is exactly the point.

Kruz + Pierce

Two players. Two paths. One love for the game.

They are four years apart and at very different stages of their soccer journeys. Kruz has experienced international competition; Pierce is just beginning that chapter, with England marking her first opportunity to play internationally.

They are competitors, teammates, sparring partners, occasional living-room rivals and—underneath all the sibling chaos—two of each other’s biggest supporters.

At home, they created their own “extreme indoor soccer.” The rules are flexible, physical contact is apparently encouraged, and an actual referee would probably remove both from the match while Mom and Dad try to unwind nearby.

We wouldn’t have it any other way.

Different ages. Different paths.
One dream to see how far the game can take them.

November 20–29, 2026
Purpose
Training • International Competition • Player Development • International Experience
Estimated total trip cost
$5,000

It is a chance to learn from a different football culture and return home with a new understanding of the game and her own potential. Another international opportunity is already on the horizon: an invitation to compete with Iconz Elite at the Gothia Cup in Sweden in 2027.

Pierce may be the younger Jackson, but the 12-year-old seventh grader has been building a soccer story of her own for eight years.

Currently playing for FESA/Sporting Jax U13 ECNL Girls, Pierce is an athletic defender with speed, physicality, strong communication and a natural ability to lead. She is a vocal communicator with a powerful strike, making corners and free kicks particular strengths.

Her development began with Jacksonville FC before she was recruited into a highly competitive ECNL environment with FESA/Sporting Jax.

Pierce was selected to the Iconz Elite tournament team, has served as team captain and has been invited to compete at the 2027 Gothia Cup in Sweden.

Pierce has competed at competitive youth events including Jefferson Cup, Florida Cup, SuperCopa+, Rayados Easter International Cup and Disney Junior Showcase.

As a sixth grader, she was one of only two sixth-grade players selected for her middle-school team, the only one to appear in every game, and started all but one match before earning Rookie of the Year. She has also earned Season MVP honors with Jacksonville.

The Dream

From Florida State to Team USA.

First: Florida State. That dream is about more than an elite women’s soccer program. Her mom is a Florida State graduate, and Pierce dreams of wearing the garnet and gold herself—this time on the soccer field.

From there, she dreams of playing professionally for the Orlando Pride, representing the U.S. Women’s National Team and ultimately wearing the USA crest at the Olympic Games.

She is only 12. There is a lot of soccer still to be played between here and there.

And that is exactly why opportunities like England matter now.
